Native plant finder

Find the right local plants for your garden. Pick your plant community (the type of bush that grew in your area), choose a layer (trees, shrubs, groundcovers and so on), or just search by name. All 232 plants are checked against PlantNET, the official NSW plant list.

Not sure which community your garden is in? Take the three-question check. Plants from your own community suit your soil and help local wildlife.
Get in touch about native garden advice. I can walk your garden with you, work out what suits your soil and light, and send you a shortlist of local plants. See native garden advice →
